This year, we're working with our community to develop a new Community Vision and strategic plans to guide the future of Kingston.
 
This is your opportunity to make your mark and ensure the things that are important to you are captured so we can make Kingston the best place to live, work and play now and into the future. Find out more and tell us what you think!

Kingston's grants program is now open!

Kingston’s grants program is now open, with thousands of dollars on offer to help local community groups, artists and children’s organisations build a stronger, healthier and socially connected Kingston.  For more information see kingston.vic.gov.au/grants or phone 1300 653 356.

All grant applications close midnight Sunday 28 March 2021.

 

Successful Grant Writing Workshop

Free training opportunity where you will learn:
  • What funding is available to your group
  • Understanding grant eligibility
  • Understanding funder goals and how to align your project 
  • Formulating your project and the resources required
  • Preparing your project budget
  • Producing an acquittal for your funding agreement
  • Writing tips to maximise grant success
  • Evaluating the project 
  • SmartyGrants application

Calling all aspiring actors! Do you want to be a part of a community drama?

Be part of a community performance with a difference. 
We're looking for people to take part in a community performance to highlight the issue of gambling harm in Kingston. 
Local playwright Kieran Carroll will write, direct and produce the play.
