This month's memory verse
John 5:24, ESV

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

Read through the Bible this year:

  • Exodus 16-18; Eph 4
  • Exodus 19-21; Psalm 33; Eph 5
  • Exodus 22-24; Psalm 109; Eph 6
  • Exodus 25-27; Psalm 90; Philippians 1
  • Exodus 28-31; Phil 2
This week's focus passage is

Hebrews 13:7-14

Please take some time every day to read our focus passage.
A note from Nancy.

Love Me, Love Me not.

Every year little girls look forward to February 14 in hopes that their special someone might give them a Valentine's Day card and maybe even a little box of candy. Who can resist that?! Girls love to look over the cards and choose just exactly the right pack. Then they will spend time choosing who gets each one. Boys, on the other hand are just fine with mom choosing a pack of cards. What's even better is getting mom to sign his name on all the cards, so, all he has to do is take them to school and give them out! As our kids get older, they spend more and more time looking for someone to love. Unfortunately, many times, they look in all the wrong places. What's even worse is that they truly do not know what to look for in love.

God issues us a simple invitation: "Be Mine". If our children are going to succeed in life and love, they need to know firsthand the love of our amazing God. 1 Corinthians 13 teaches us that we must connect to love, specifically the love of God, in order to live meaningful lives. As parents and grandparents, we are commanded to teach our children about God and His ways. We are to show them in our daily lives the way God cares for us. If our children don't see human, familial love in their homes, how can we teach them the love of God?

When our children are young, we should teach them John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever should believe in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life". We need to show them God's love in action through our daily lives. Children need to know that God died for them and rose again and is in heaven making us a home where all those who claim Him as their savior will go to live someday. Talk about how much God loves them. They need to hear it from you! Don't let them grow up thinking Jesus was just a good man. Show them that God's message of love is breathed into every word written in our Bible.

Do you want a special valentine this year? Good News! It arrived 2000 years ago when God made a special delivery. He loves you unconditionally. In Isaiah 43:1, He says, "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine." Listen as God whispers, "Be Mine"!

Last year, summer camp was canceled, #SadFaceEmoji. However, Fuge Camps has decided that they would continue camps this summer. Therefore, on July 21-26th the student ministry will be traveling to Union University in Jackson, Tennessee for Fuge Camps 2021.

If we have learned any new activity from 2020, it was that masks and social distancing are crucial tools to any public situation. Therefore, what better way to use our new “favorite” activities to help our students attend camp. On Sunday, February 28 from 4:30-6:30p, the student ministry will be hosting a perfect fundraiser with masks and social distancing in mind. We will be hosting a SILENT AUCTION. 100% of the funds raised from this Silent Auction will go towards the students going to camp.

These fundraisers are critical for many students to attend camp. Because otherwise they would not be able to attend. Therefore, it is my hope that we can help these students. We use this time during the summer to strengthen, motivate, and grow our student’s faith. These are moments that God has used in the past to draw students to Himself. These moments are some of the most precious that I look back on. It is my hope that we can send our students to camp with little to no expense. So, I hope that you can join us for this very special SILENT AUCTION on February 28th from 4:30-6:30p.

Wednesday evening activities will not resume until further notice.
We will continue to stream our Sunday morning services live on our Youtube channel and our Facebook page
