 Mid-Winter was a Success!

The New Year is off to a great start for your Chamber of Commerce. This past Saturday, we hosted the Mid-Winter Festival. Annually, the event raises funds to support Chamber operations and community events for the upcoming year.

This month, we have two events for you:

  • Business Over Breakfast, February 9 at the Kilowatt Community Center. Guest Speaker: Countryside Public Health with a COVID-19 and Vaccine Rollout Update. Gather at 7:30 a.m. with light breakfast. Program at 8 a.m. Freewill offering at door.
  • Ole & Lena Days Medallion Hunt: Daily clues were posted on Facebook and around town through February 5. Ole and Lena medallions were found Thursday morning (Day 4) at corner of Prentice Street & 9th Ave and under the new Granite Falls Motel sign on US-212. 
Enjoy your February! We gain roughly three minutes of daylight each day this month for a total of one hour, 18 minutes of more sunlight.

Reserve Your Month for Hosting Business Over Breakfast in 2021


These networking events are held on the second Tuesday morning of each month from 7:30 a.m. - 9: 00 a.m. A continental breakfast is included for a free willing offering. The program changes each month and provides hosts an opportunity to share their business and/or industry best practices.

Breakfast is provided by the Chamber or can be part of your contribution to Chamber activities. The Kilowatt Community Center meeting room is available for businesses that do not have meeting space.

1 Million Cups-Mankato is "On the Road" with Granite Falls Economic Development Authority (EDA) to host two entrepreneurs: Bethany Naab, owner of Stella + Poppy and co-owner Marshall Anderson of Granite Woodworks. It is free and open to the public.
