February 2021 Updates

Hope you are all surviving this once in a generation crisis. At least we have President Biden leading us now. We have a few updates for you below. Please consider volunteering this spring to help us continue our stand for our right to peacefully enjoy this beautiful place we call home.

Communications Assistant Needed: The Bonner County Democrats are in need of a technology savvy person to update our website and online presence, write and publish announcements using MailChimp, and write and publish press releases. If you can do any part of this, please reply to this email.

Sandpoint City Council Campaign Subcommittee forming: if you would like to be a part of the committee to elect and protect three city council seats for the November 2021 elections, please reply to this email. We will be designing a strategy to help protect our city from extreme candidates. Please consider volunteering for this important effort.

Reclaim Idaho is hosting a meeting for Bonner County to give us an update about education funding issues. Luke Mayville will discuss what is happening in Boise and what Reclaim has been doing behind the scenes. I can’t wait to see what they are going to do next! Help protect our wild bird friends. The Idaho Fish and Game has asked us all to stop feeding birds for the next several weeks due to an outbreak of salmonellosis that has caused a large die-off across the Pacific Northwest. Many of our members have reported seeing dead pine siskins around their bird feeders. To find out more you can go HERE.
