Businesses have a key role in reducing Victoria’s 2.4 million tonnes of food waste, but they also have a lot to gain. During this action-packed virtual 75 minutes, we'll deep-dive into what businesses can gain from taking on food waste solutions.

You'll leave the session...

  • with evidence-based insights on food waste opportunities, across the supply chain.
  • inspired and informed by the journey of businesses already making significant change.
  • understanding the funding support currently available to help you identify or implement a new project.

Reducing food waste creates opportunities to save money, diversify, grow and make a difference. So why wait?

Our vision for a circular economy

Our vision is for a circular economy that continually seeks to reduce the environmental impacts of production and consumption, while enabling economic growth through productive use of natural resources.

It allows us to avoid waste with good design and effective recovery of materials that can be reused. The value we obtain from the resources used to create goods and services increases.

It transforms our linear economy mindset – take, use and throw away – and fosters innovation and productivity that invigorates existing businesses and creates new ones, delivering more jobs, more growth and more social inclusion to the local, regional, state and global economies.
