Here's how you can help:

2) Call or email to say THANK YOU for supporting Youth Mentoring under CYFD. This funding helps us mentor nearly 4,000 youth across New Mexico.
3) Use the email template below, or create your own message, when emailing your senator or representative:

“Thank you very much for your continued support of Big Brothers Big Sisters through CYFD. I am a [BBBS Volunteer/Board Member/Parent/Supporter] and I care about our kids in New Mexico. Mentoring makes a huge difference by keeping kids connected. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps youth stay out of trouble, in school, and have successful careers. Please continue to fund Big Brothers Big Sisters’ essential mission through this next year. The program receives critical funding through CYFD contractual services for one-to-one mentoring.”
4) If calling, try to reach the senator/representative directly. If leaving a message, clarify with staff what your relationship is with the senator/representative (friend, constituent, etc.) and to BBBS. The legislative staff logs every single message received and shares it with senators/representatives at the end of the day.
