A big "Thank You" to all member artists who have agreed to be part of our Maine Fiberarts Online Art Shop during our Holiday Art Sales as we navigate through the current inability to be fully open for in-person sales.
In the previous three years, including opening the shop in 2018, we’ve had art sales of $1416 in 2018, $5,949 in 2019 (from both Maine Fiberarts’ gallery and the Online Art Shop), and $663 (mostly from the Online Art Shop) in 2020. Here’s a quick look at how the shop did over the holiday sales period between 11/22/20 and 2/5/2021:
- There were 51 sales of Learning Guides PLUS donations to cover printing expenses totaling: $1922 (thanks, all!);
- There were 11 sales of artwork totaling $894. Of this, we paid out $536 to artists;
- Artwork Items that sold (during the Holiday Sale) were priced at $150 and under;
- Buyers were from Maine, Virginia, New Jersey, Texas, Illinois, Arkansas, Rhode Island, New York, Maryland, Florida, Arizona, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Washington.

A SHOP REFRESH
As we mentioned in an earlier email, now that the November-January holidays are over, we are writing to ask if you want to leave your items listed in our online shop, and/or would like to list some new items to help refresh the shop.
To check to see what items you have listed, you would click the VISIT THE SHOP button below, as if to purchase from the online shop. Then in the search box (magnifying glass icon), put either your first or last name, click the magnifying glass again and the list of your items should come up.

Next, you will need to email us to let us know which items you would like to keep listed in the shop and which you would like to remove. Click the red link and an email will be started for you on your computer, or just reply to this email. If we do not hear from you, we will just keep your things listed at least until the end of April 2021.

ADDING YOUR NEW ITEMS
We are, as always, asking for an exclusive of three months for any items you would like to list, which would mean you are committing to make your items available for sales from our online shop from February through April of 2021.
Our online submission form lets you enter three items plus a photo or two for each item. If you have some similar items that can be grouped together as one (such as having different sizes or colors of the same priced item) you may enter them as one. Please read the guidelines at the bottom of the form, especially about photos you will be submitting.
