Have you ever noticed how you carry outdated attitudes from your past, but your time & circumstances has actually changed? When I read through the Old Testament of the Bible, I'm always reminded that praise isn't correlated with circumstances. Praise is based more on who God is, while thankfulness is based on what He’s done. We're called to praise and honor through every season. What if I praised God for his consistency, his faithfulness and his love more than just praising him for what He's done for me? Praise and thankfulness do go hand in hand, but they are different.
