PRITZKER SAYS LAWMAKERS NOW ELIGIBLE FOR COVID VACCINE
State lawmakers are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, Gov. JB Pritzker said Wednesday. The current phase also includes non-healthcare essential workers and residents 65 years and older. Pritzker said a number of lawmakers requested they get added after several staffers tested positive during the veto session. He said the move should help encourage the General Assembly to have a more normal spring session to address a myriad of issues facing the state. Notably, legislative staffers were not included in this new eligibility. (Contact: Dan Frey)
