A Message
from the
Athletic Director
Good afternoon!
Evergreen Lutheran High School is excited to begin our sports seasons. WIAA season one, which consists of traditional fall sports: Football, Volleyball, Boys and Girls Soccer, begins on February 8. Although we are allowed to play sports, it is not business as usual. The league is making great efforts to protect our athletes, coaches, and officials. The hosting and attending of sporting events comes with an intensive list of rules and regulations that need to be followed. The policies described in this email have been set by the WIAA, the SeaTac League, and by ELHS. They must be strictly observed, so that we may continue to fully participate in the sports season.
Spectator Information
COVID-19 restrictions create difficulty in allowing crowds into sporting events and venues. The number of spectators allowed at a sporting competition is dictated by many factors. Each and every game will have different spectator restrictions. With the help of the office, I, as your Athletic Director, will personally handle the creation of the pass list for each game. We respect and appreciate all of our fans and supporters. Evergreen will make every possible effort to  live stream each game, home and away, on our Facebook page.
Things to know:
  • Spectators must be on the pass list in order to be admitted to any game.
  • Spectators are required to wear a facial covering that covers both the nose and the mouth at all times at BOTH indoor AND outdoor venues.
  • The admittance of spectators is at the discretion of the hosting team and/or the capacity of the venue.
  • The number of allowed spectators will vary with each sport and each individual game/match.
  • Coordination of spectators will be handled by the Athletic Director via the office for each game/match.
  • Team parents will be notified via text and email about spectator availability for each game/match.
  • All spectators must be registered with ELHS in advance and be prepared to show ID for entry. The team emails, mentioned above, will have instructions to sign up spectators.
  • Health Screenings and temperature checks will be required for spectator entry.
  • Spectators are expected to follow COVID-19 guidelines and remain in their designated spots.
  • Spectators are expected to maintain 6 feet of distance from all other spectators, officials, and players.
  • All efforts will be made to livestream every game/match, home and away, on our Facebook page.
Schedules
The SeaTac League has changed how team information is presented. Each team in the league now has their own team website for schedules, rosters, and team information. Our athletic website is www.elhsathletics.com. You will be able to find links to schedules and team information from the Athletics page on our school's website, www.elhs.org.
There is currently a lag with the schedule synchronization on the new athletic websites. I am including the current team schedules below. Please remember these games can change at any time. Please be sure to check the athletics website frequently for current and up to date schedules.
