Join us on Tuesday, February 23 at 5 p.m. for a virtual conversation about the new Maritime Washington National Heritage Area and what it means for Whatcom County!
We'll provide a brief overview of what National Heritage Areas are,
the work to date on the Maritime Washington NHA, and the plan moving forward — including opportunities for you to get involved.
During the meeting, we'll also be asking you about your vision
for Washington's saltwater coast and how the heritage area could provide value to your community.
This event is co-hosted by Bellingham Whatcom County Tourism,
the Working Waterfront Coalition of Whatcom County,
and the Washington Trust for Historic Preservation .
