SMART testing is available at a number of new locations around the Borough: Earcroft Children's Centre, Bangor Street Community Centre, Mill Hill Community Centre and the Energy Zone. You can get a test between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Listening Ear offer bereavement counselling. They are also holding a number of Amparo Zoom Briefings:
Thursday 11th (5pm), Tuesday 16th (2pm) and Monday 22nd February (12.30pm), and Friday 5th (2pm), Wednesday 17th (4.30pm), Thursday 25th (12.30pm) and Tuesday 30th March (2pm). Anyone wishing to book should email Paul stating their chosen date.
IMO are calling on local women to take part in their competition Women in Leadership. Prizes on offer for the best entries. Deadline for submissions is
4pm on Friday 19th February.
Additionally, they are seeking recruits for their IGNITE youth group. Apply by
Monday 22nd February.
Age UK BwD are seeking to recruit a Befriending Services Manager. Application deadline is
9am on Tuesday 23rd February.

Grants to charities for supporting energy consumers in vulnerable situations and for developing innovative products and services related to energy.

Grants to charities that reduce the climate change impact associated with energy use.

Vocational Learning Technology Fund (VocTech Seed Fund) - closes Thursday 11th February
Funding for projects that use digital technology in novel and imaginative ways to develop new services or improve access and delivery of adult vocational learning.

Grants for charities, community or grassroots organisations for projects which raise awareness of the Windrush Scheme (documentation), the Windrush Compensation Scheme or both.

Youth Covid-19 Support Fund - closes Friday 12th February
Grants to community and national youth organisations to help mitigate the impact of lost income during the winter period due to the coronavirus pandemic, and ensure services providing vital support can remain open.

Allchurches Trust - Hope Beyond - closes Monday 15th February
Grants for churches and Christian charities to adapt to the challenges and opportunities presented by the coronavirus crisis.

Duke of Devonshire's Charitable Trust - closes Monday 15th February
Grants for registered charities to deliver charitable causes and projects locally.

Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust - closes Monday 15th February
Funding for projects to further the advancement of horticulture.
