This Week's Workout Sounds -- 

This week's workout playlist is another one brought to you by Ari Nelson - this week asking the classic question of: "Do I workout, or do I sleep?"

This week's workout podcast tackles the question of TRAINING YOUR MIND and how to do it for maximum motivation. 

New Community Info -- 

Before we get into this week's community information, we wanted to share with you some exciting news about our next Peak + Open Enrollment! We will be opening Peak + Enrollment this Monday (February 8th) and it will be open until February 22nd. This enrollment is special to us because we're offering two tracks for people who join the Jamily: Off-Season or Pre-Season. Check out the graphics below that we'll be posting to social media! 


              

                                    

We have a few very interesting reads to share today! This week's theme is MOVING FORWARD. 

First, we wanted to share a very interesting article about the effects that the pandemic is having on athletes everywhere. This reading also involves a "COVID Survival Kit" for athletes. 

Second, we have a video on the positive effects of fasting and how fasting every once in a while can improve your ability to process, progress, and perform. 

This Week's Goals:

This segment of 6 Notes will introduce five goals to you, weekly. You can focus only on one, you could focus on all five, or you can mix and match each week to fit your needs and desires. These could also just be little things you keep in your back pocket as you navigate your world this week. Your choice! 

  1. Meditate for 10 minutes for 3 out of the 7 mornings before you move on with your day. 
  2. Take an extra 5 minutes in every shower. 
  3. Jump on a Zoom call during a workout and do it with a friend! 
  4. Write a letter to someone in your life who you miss. 
  5. Draw for 30 minutes (anything you want). 

NEWS in Ultimate Land 

This segment is just for information that's been working through the Ultimate community!

  • A new article was released this week by a college student about her experience with race and racism within the ultimate community. It's a must-read.

HYPE HYPE HYPE --

The #HYPE of the week! We're going to include lifting videos, highlight videos, Callahan videos, and more! 

This week's hype video is the U24 Worlds Finals video from 2019, made by Flatballer, showing the first segment of the USA Sweep, the Womxn's Team! One of our athletes and coaches, Ari Nelson, threw the winning goal for their World Championship win. This video just gives us goosebumps. Check it out!
