The AAG February meeting will be held Monday, February 8 at the Aiken Center for the Arts and live online.
Our program will feature Tim Driman.
Please find additional information about Tim below. Try not to miss out on this fantastic opportunity to learn about Tim, his craft and his mission.
Please note:
Since Tim is joining us from South Africa, we will hold the live online portion of the meeting starting at noon. The online portion will be recorded and we will play that back during our in-person meeting beginning at 7:00 pm at the Aiken Center for the Arts. We will continue to follow the ACA pandemic protocols for distanced seating and face coverings.
My passion is more towards being at one with nature, and getting inside it’s head, feeling the heartbeat and understanding animals, and their behaviour. I guess it enables me to anticipate animal movement, which helps my photographic aspirations. That’s where I come from, so I enjoy teaching from that perspective…
As a PSSA photo judge, I have judged numerous club photo competitions, and have given a bunch of talks on photography from every angle.

Beyond the Basics with Pastels With Carolyn Bohn
This is for artists who wish to further develop their own skills in pastel. Work on simple buildings like barns or small cottages; you may bring your own reference or choose from several that will be provided.
Determine your composition, and layer pastels according to value and temperature to create the the painterly image.
The building will come to life by applying strokes and very little blending.
Supply list at ACA front desk or online. Bring a lunch. (30 min break)
