Trip to England and Ireland

Calling all our community parents and students!

Ever wanted to see the world and experience another culture firsthand? Well now you can! Pack your bags. We are off to England and Ireland in Summer 2022!

I believe one of the best ways to help students gain new perspectives and build skills for the future is through experiential learning. Travel is an opportunity for students to experience a new way of life and the invaluable chance to develop a sense of independence before graduating.

Bring yourself and your parents to my virtual information session on Tuesday, February 23rd at 6:30pm EST to learn more my tour to England and Ireland and how you can be a part of it. Your family can register for parent information meeting here: https://bit.ly/3pnsDrg

See you all soon! I’m excited to have something for us all to look forward to.

Please email Amy Stonehouse with any questions.
The PSAT that was scheduled for January 26 was cancelled. Students who submit the application by the April deadline, may submit an SAT score from any administration of the SAT between the dates of August 2020 – June 2021 or select to send their scores to the National Merit Scholarship Program (like they would to a college) during the SAT registration and administration process (IF they participate in the May or June SAT administration dates). The steps that students will need to take can be found on the National Merit website under the Resources tab- www.nationalmerit.org

Senior Events

Due to the district’s plan to extend remote learning through February 22, 2021, we will be postponing the January wristband event for Seniors. Wristbands will be available for pick-up beginning January 19th in the main office following the school’s hours of operation. Please email lauren.talton@cms.k12.nc.us for further questions.
