New Hotsheet: Introduction to Editorial

Editors shape the look, feel and voice of their magazines. They're responsible for identifying timely content and unique stories, and for carrying these pieces through the editorial process. Likewise, editors must understand who their content is created for, how it's received and why.

In this Hotsheet by Britt Gallpen, learn about setting editorial targets, understanding your audience and content mix, and embracing the data. Britt Gallpen is the Editorial Director at Inuit Art Quarterly. Read more (member login is required).

Plus: More new Hotsheets are available online for Magazines Canada members! Each Hotsheet delivers current information on a single topic, written by an expert in the field. This year's Hotsheets focus on working remotely as a team, editorial bias, brand licensing, and much more! View all Hotsheets. New hotsheets require a member login to access.
