Religious/Spiritual Student Organizations

Meet awesome student organizations!
Each week we highlight two religious student organizations. Joining a group or attending their events is a great way to connect with fellow students and find a supportive community on campus.
Learn more and get in contact with these groups here!
Muslim Student Association
The Claremont Colleges Muslim Students Association seeks to provide a support system and a sense of community for students of Muslim background and faith at the Claremont Colleges. Our events seek to highlight the rich cultural aspects of the various Islamic traditions from around the world, and to allow a safe space for Muslim students to express their faith, but also be themselves. We also aim to increase awareness about Islam and Muslims through interfaith activities. MSA organizes a variety of social, cultural, educational, religious and interfaith events. These include Iftars, Eid dinners, guest speakers, and field trips. Jummah Prayer is held most Fridays.
5CIV Christian Fellowship
5CIV (InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at The Claremont Colleges). We are a community of students at Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Scripps, Pomona, and Pitzer Colleges seeking to follow Jesus together. We are Christians of various backgrounds (Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, non-denominational) and students of other/no religious background who are asking questions about Jesus. Everyone is welcome. Our vision is to: Love God. Love people. Do God’s work of love and justice on and off campus. Throughout the school year, we will be holding several Bible studies throughout the week as well as a large group fellowship every Friday night. We are here for you!
