PIP CONNOLLY - Marketing & Promotions
We would like to introduce our newest team member, Pip Connolly. Pip is the acting Marketing & Promotions Coordinator while Ruby is on maternity leave. Pip started at the Griffith Tourism Hub in January 2021, before that she was the Packaging Designer at local winery Casella Family Brands. Pip has a Bachelor of Industrial Design from UNSW and a Graduate Diploma of Project Management from Curtin University. Pip is enjoying her new role and is the go-to for everything marketing, design and web related. As a long time local, Pip is a keen advocate of the local community and Destination Griffith.

FIRST QANTAS FLIGHT TO GRIFFITH
The flying Kangaroo is coming to Griffith! On Monday 1st of March, the first Qantas flight will touchdown at Griffith Airport. Qantas will offer a daily return flight from Sydney to Griffith. We are pleased to announce that Griffith’s new outdoor 50m swimming pool is open for business! Since opening, the new pool has been enjoyed by the local community as well as our visitors. VINTAGE TIME
January, February and March are prime grape-harvest months. The majority of grapes in the local area are machine-harvested, and picked at night as it is cooler - when the grapes are cold, it helps to concentrate the aromas and flavours, stabilises the sugar levels and slows the oxidation rate.

NSW Trainlink offer daily commuter services between Griffith and Sydney via Wagga or Cootamundra. Direct train services are available on Thursdays and Sundays. All services depart and arrive at the Griffith Railway Station
