Lockdown Support Grants for businesses 

If your business has been CLOSED due to the Government’s Covid-19 restrictions or is still OPEN but has suffered a loss of income because of those restrictions, you may be entitled to immediate financial support. This support is available for qualifying charities, community interest companies or other income-generating organisations.

• If you are a Business Rates payer in Worcester and your business was required to CLOSE from January 5, or if your business is currently only able to provide takeaway services or 'Click and Collect', go to the Lockdown Support Grant page and apply under National Lockdown Business Support Grant 5 January Onwards.
• If you are NOT a Business Rates payer, or your business is still OPEN from January 5, go to the Lockdown Support Grants page and apply under the  Discretionary Lockdown Support Grant.

Worcester City Council is surveying businesses in Worcester City Centre about your experiences of the 2020 Christmas season.

The Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre did not take place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the City Council commissioned weekend markets and entertainers throughout the city centre on each weekend in December. Responses are anonymous and will be used to review these activities, as well as gather intelligence on business trading and visitor spend during the 2020 Christmas season.
