Dear Members and Friends,

As we begin the Stewardship Campaign for our 2021-22 budget year, everything is different.  In one year since last January, we have gone from the old normal of being together in our Sanctuary in worship, song, fellowship and friendship to seeing each other in little squares on screens.  We miss greeting each other in person, but our Fellowship has shown great resilience in our adaptation to the demands for safety during the Pandemic.  The end is in sight, and we hope our water communion service next September will mark the return of gathering in person.

Our Stewardship Campaign is part of preparing for our next year to ensure we have the resources to sustain our Fellowship and continue our mission to cultivate more love in the world and nurture more love for the world. We are proud of what are doing to maintain our Fellowship and mission even during these challenging times.

Just as this year has been different, so too is our Stewardship Campaign.  Gathering in person for cottage meetings or a Fellowship brunch is not wise, so we will be communicating via email, phone calls and Zoom.  Please take the time to look at the links (in blue) included with this message which provide information for planning regarding your pledge.  You will have the opportunity to join a small group Zoom gathering in February to discuss the information, ask any questions, and give your input. All members will soon receive a personalized email providing their last year’s pledge amount with a link for pledging for the 2021-22 Fiscal Year.

We recognize that this is a time of uncertainty.  Some have been negatively impacted economically by the effects of the pandemic; others are fortunate to have stable sources of income and support.  As a community, we can be supportive of those who have less capacity to pledge during these unusually difficult times and supportive of the viability of our Fellowship by maintaining or increasing our pledges if we are in a position to do so.  We hope that those who can will again be generous in their giving so that all of us can work together to fulfill our mission and vision.

Please take a look at the links, and sign up for a Zoom gathering in February. Of course, you can always call any member of the Stewardship Committee to help you. Technology is not always our friend.

With love, your Stewardship Committee,
Mary Hazelton, Co-Chair
Sandy Mucci, Co-Chair
