Welcoming Our New Intern, Anna!
Anna Franek, a junior at St. Catherine University, has joined the ACSSJ team as a marketing and communications intern. She is earning a double major in Accounting and Marketing and minoring in American Sign Language. Anna participated in the ACSSJ Student Exchange Program last spring and attended Mount Saint Mary's University.

During her semester as an intern, Anna looks forward to building her marketing skills and hopes to encourage more students to participate in the student exchange program.

Anna shares more about her experience as an exchange student at acssj.org.
Saint Rose Professor Continues Sister's Legacy
Dr. Thomas Murphy of The College of Saint Rose took Sister Sean Peter's question to heart when asked how he could serve the dear neighbor as a new faculty member in 2019. As an assistant professor of counseling and licensed mental health counselor, Murphy decided to offer his services to Give An Hour, an organization of mental health professionals. He counsels veterans with trauma histories on a weekly basis at no cost. Sister Sean has now taken on a position with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, but her influence on Saint Rose continues.

Read more about Murphy's work and Sister Sean's impact on The Saint Rose Blog.

Maxims of Perfection
Father Jean-Pierre Medaille's maxims were written in 1657 under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as a foundation for every person's spiritual life.

The original book, Maxims of Perfection, lied dormant and hidden for many years, but the spirit was kept alive within the many congregations of Sisters of St. Joseph across the world.

Maxims of Perfection (2020) by Sister Rosemary O'Toole invites readers to ponder the words and meanings of each of the 128 maxims.
Grab your copy now! Available on Amazon for a small number of copies. To purchase bulk orders at a discounted rate, email Sr. Rosemary O'Toole at upperroom@sympatico.ca.
