How to reset your mindset to achieve financial freedom.
I published an opinion article in the Tennessean and there was, of course, some backlash. I was called out for "self-promotion". I’m coming from a pure place and honestly trying to help spread knowledge that I had to fight to gain! I could sit back and do nothing and enjoy my life, yet I’m working day and night writing, creating and talking to people about how to achieve their goals and get stable financially.
I just want my people to thrive! I am a black girl who came from poverty who’s had to work 100 times as hard as others just to still barely make it to this point at my age, but I did it. I have a bachelors, masters, PhD, 6 Sigma Black Belt from Caterpillar, 51st woman PhD in Information Systems in HIStory, first tenured black in Information Systems at Belmont University, won 40 under 40 Nashville Business Journal and Tennessee State University, Rising Star Nashville Cable and Nashville Black Chamber, Emerging Leader in Education Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, Susan Short Jones Emerging Leaders National Coalition of 100 Black Women - Metro Nashville Chapter, Inc., shall I keep going? You get the point! Now that’s self promotion! But I'd rather talk about how you can shift from saving to investing at a workshop.
THANK you to all of YOU and those who have supported me and especially my work with The Achiever Academy over the years Cass Teague, Nashville Pride, The Tennessee Tribune, David Plazas, Jessica 'Hopp' Bliss, Brad Schmitt, Tuwanda Coleman NC5, Matthew M Torres and so many others.
