 The Jewelbox Dress Co. Now Open in East Elm!
Winnetka welcomes The Jewelbox Dress Co. to their new East Elm studio at 725 Elm Street. Owner Christy Vegosen opened the store after successful trunk shows around the North Shore. Vegosen debuts her fashion label of dresses, skirts, t-shirts, and more for adults and children. The collection includes darker hues, heavy-weight knits, and newer styles. Vegosen previously owned Tickled Pink in Wilmette. The Jewelbox Dress Co. is open Fridays and Saturdays and by appointment. Read the featured article about Christy in Sheridan Road magazine.  Guanajuato Mexican Restaurant Celebrates Opening
Congratulations to owner Margarita Challenger and Executive Chef Jovanny Diaz on the grand opening of their business, Guanajuato Mexican Restaurant and Tequila Bar at 1003 Green Bay Road in Hubbard Woods!
The Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting event that welcomed the restaurant to Winnetka. The beautifully renovated space has large seating areas, a bar, and outdoor patio seating. Guanajuato is well-known for their authentic Mexican food and margaritas. They offer indoor dining, take out, and delivery, and have a special pick-up parking space outside for to-go orders.

Outdoor Seating Opens April 1
The Village is collecting applications for outdoor seating and encourages any business interested in placing tables, benches, or chairs in the public right of way to submit an application. Business that had a permit in 2020 will be contacted by the Village to reapply. Applications can be found on the Village's website and are due February 19, 2021.

Webinars Offered About PPP Forgiveness Loan
Attend a webinar about the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) forgiveness loan and how to apply for it. The webinar is hosted by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity. Webinars take place on Friday, February 5, 2021 10 AM and February 11, 2021 at 1 PM.
