Hello lovely,
By the time you read this I’ll be on the road, travelling to places I’ve never been in NSW to see mega murals on the side of silos.
My mother and I will be hitting the road together to see all eight silo art works in NSW, or rather seven and a bit, as one of them is being painted right now so we’ll see that work in progress.
I’ll be sharing the highlights along the way on Instagram stories @TheAmandaWoods and also writing a blog all about it when I get back.
I’m really excited to be going out on the road again and also laughing as I pack because I’m throwing things in the car I’d never take on a plane. Including a kettle.
While most places in Australia do have them in hotel rooms, we’re going to be staying in some very, shall we say, budget friendly options too, and for me the best days start with two cups of tea in bed.
Even when I’ve stayed in some top hotels I’ve found they proudly display their coffee machine with no regard for the tea drinkers. And no, water heated in the coffee machine isn’t okay. It’s something I feel passionate about, so much so I wrote all about in a piece for Escape.
So now if I don't see a kettle in the room I can just pop out to the car and bring mine in. Sorted.
Speaking of packing, I still have a whole lot to do so excuse me while I go get my things together, and I’ll see you on Insta or here in your inbox next week.
Until then, have a great one.
xA
