- Southbound US 54 will be closed to all traffic between I-10 and US 62 (Paisano Drive).
- US 54 DETOUR: Take Exit 21A (I-10 East/San Antonio), continue on eastbound I-10, take Exit 23B (US 62/180/Paisano Drive/Chelsea Street) and follow Paisano to US 54.
- REMINDER: Juárez traffic will take the newly opened direct connector ramp from southbound US 54 to Juárez.
- Ramp E which connects Gateway Boulevard South to US 54 at Yandell Drive will be closed to all traffic.
- DETOUR: Enter southbound US 54 at Pershing Drive.

On-Going Closures Will Continue Without Interruption
- Ramp H which connects eastbound I-10 to US 54 and Juárez remains closed until further notice.
- Interstate 110, the short freeway spur leading to and from the Bridge of the Americas, remains closed to northbound traffic until further notice.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed to traffic in both directions between San Marcial Street and Gateway Boulevard South.
- Gateway Boulevard East remains closed to thru traffic between Loop 478 (Copia Street) and Marr Street.
- The ramp from southbound US 54 to US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Both turnarounds under US 54 at US 62 (Paisano Drive) remains closed until further notice.
- Intermittent closures on Durazno Avenue, Rosa Avenue and Uva Street.
- Lane closures will be in place on eastbound and westbound SH 20 (Alameda Avenue) at US 54 until further notice.
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard East between Piedras Street and US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Intermittent lane closures on Gateway Boulevard West between Boone Street and Palm Street.
Onramp and offramp closures may begin up to one hour earlier than stated times. All information is subject to change based upon weather and field conditions.

About the I-10 Connect Project
The I-10 Connect project is at the intersection of Interstate 10 and US 54 in El Paso County. The project extends from I-10 to Loop 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway) and provides access to the Bridge of the Americas (BOTA) via I-110. The $96 million project includes the construction of four new direct connectors, a full reconstruction of the I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive) interchange, and removes exit ramps from US 62 to I-110.
I-10 Connect will improve connectivity between I-10 and Loop 375, also providing an alternate route to I-10. It started February 19, 2019, and is expected to be complete in less than three years.

Nuevo puente interconector de US 54

EL PASO, Texas — Un nuevo puente interconector que conecta US 54 Sur con Cd. Juárez a la altura del Spaghetti Bowl se inaugura por la mañana 2 de febrero, 2021. Cuando se abre este puente, todo tránsito de US 54 sur con destino en Cd. Juárez debe seguir los nuevos señalamientos para la rampa que los lleva por encima del I-10 y directamente al Puente Internacional de las Américas. Cierran ya la antigua Salida 20B (I-110/Juárez, México) que salía de US 54 junto a la primaria Zavala Elementary School y conducía hacia el puente internacional.
Éste representa el tercer estreno de un puente interconector como parte del Proyecto I-10 Connect. El proyecto de $96 millones está bajo construcción en la eje de I-10, US 54 y el Circuito 375 en la zona central de El Paso. Su meta principal es facilitar la transición entre I-10 y Circuito 375, para permitir al tránsito vehicular utilizar al Circuito 375 como ruta alternativa a I-10 y vice versa.
Se programan múltiples cierres nocturnos esta semana para el traslado de las barreras temporales de concreto, según los nuevos planes de flujo vehicular.

- DESVIACIÓN: Tomar Salida 21B (I-10 West/Las Cruces/Downtown), continuar en I-10 Oeste, tomar la Salida 20 (Calle Cotton) doblar a la izquierda en Calle Cotton, izquierda en I-10 Este.
Cuadrillas trasladan las barreras temporales de concreto.

Lunes 1 de febrero, de 9pm a 5am
- Cierran la Rampa F-B, que conecta I-10 Oeste a Cd. Juárez.
- DESVIACIÓN: Viajar hacia el norte en US 54, utilizar el retorno de Pershing Drive hacia US 54 Sur.
Cuadrillas trasladan las barreras temporales de concreto.

- Cierran US 54 Sur entre I-10 y US 62 (Paisano Drive).
- DESVIACIÓN DE US 54: Tomar Salida 21A (I-10 East/San Antonio), continuar en I-10 Este, tomar Salida 23B (US 62/180/Paisano Drive/Chelsea Street) y seguir Paisano Drive hacia US 54.
- RECORDATORIO: El tránsito hacia Cd. Juárez sigue el nuevamente construido puente interconector de US 54 Sur a Cd. Juárez.
- Cierran la Rampa E que conecta Gateway Boulevard Sur con US 54 sobre Yandell Drive.
- DESVIACIÓN: Incorporarse a US 54 Sur sobre Pershing Drive.

LOS SIGUIENTES IMPACTOS AL TRÁFICO SIGUEN SIN INTERRUPCIÓN:
- La Rampa H que conecta I-10 Este a US 54 y Cd. Juárez permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso
- I-110, la corta autopista que conduce hacia el Puente Internacional de las Américas, permanece cerrada para tránsito hacia el norte hasta nuevo aviso.
- US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrado en ambas direcciones entre Calle San Marcial y Gateway Boulevard Sur.
- Gateway Boulevard Este permanece cerrado entre Circuito 478 (Calle Copia) y Calle Marr.
- La rampa de US 54 Sur hacia US 62 (Paisano Drive) permanece cerrada hasta nuevo aviso.
- Los dos retornos en US-62 (Paisano Drive) por debajo del US 54 permanecen cerrados hasta nuevo aviso
- Cierres intermitentes de Avenidas Durazno y Rosa, y Calle Uva.
- Cierran carriles de SH 20 (Avenida Alameda) en ambas direcciones sobre US 54 hasta nuevo aviso.
- Cierres de carriles en efecto en Rampa D que conecta US 54 Sur a I-10 Este hasta nuevo aviso
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Este entre Calle Piedras y US 62/180 (Paisano Drive).
- Cierres intermitentes en Gateway Boulevard Oeste entre Calles Boone y Palm.
Pueden iniciar los cierres de rampas hasta una hora antes de lo tiempos indicados. Toda información de construcción está sujeta a cambios de clima y de condiciones del campo.

Sobre I-10 Connect
El Proyecto "I-10 Connect" se encuentra en la intersección de la autopista interestatal I-10 y la carretera US 54 en el Condado de El Paso. El proyecto se extiende del I-10 al Circuito 375 (Cesar Chávez Border Highway). El proyecto de $96 millones incluye la construcción de cuatro puentes interconectores, una reconstrucción completa de la intersección I-110/US 62 (Paisano Drive), y remueve las rampas de salida del US 62 al I-110. La intención de este proyecto es facilitar a los automovilistas el usar el Circuito 375 como ruta alterna al I-10.
