Honoring Saint Brigid by
Celebrating the Creativity of Women

St. Brigid was Ireland's only female patron saint, an early advocate for women's rights, a powerful spiritual leader and founder of a school of art some fifteen centuries ago.
In recognition of Lá Fhéile Bríde / St. Brigid's Day earlier this week, we are celebrating the creativity of women in today's newsletter, by highlighting a number of films by some of Ireland’s best women filmmakers.

These include Roisin Kearney, Claire Byrne, Natasha Waugh and Deborah Grimes, each of whom have films included in our 2021 Shorts Programs.
