Thank Yous
There are so many of these it's hard to know where to start. We would like to start by just saying a huge thank you to anyone who has prayed for us, sent letters, emails or texts of encouragement and for all of you who have given us financial support, we wouldn't be here without any of you. We also want to specifically thank both Glenabbey Church and Ballylinney Church, they have both been so amazing with their support and their mission teams have been fantastic in encouraging us and trying to impart their years of wisdom on us! Trying being the key word! Finally we want to say a big thank you to Latin Link for putting up with us and again giving us so much support and encouragement to get out here, their team had to work overtime to get our insurance sorted because of our administrative failings, but they never once complained, just continued to encourage and support us every step. Thank you guys! There are many other individuals who have been instrumental in making this journey happen but if we start down that road you will be reading the longest newsletter in history!
Looking forward...
Our next step once we finish isolation is to met Katy Griggs, our Latin Link Team Leader in Ecuador who will introduce us to our host family in Quito. We will then enrol in language school and start the slow process of teaching monolinguists to become bi-linguists! Excited for all of this but also sad to have said goodbye to all our friends and family at home, it was not the way we wanted to leave with the Covid restrictions but such is life currently. We will miss you all and think about you daily.

Prayer Requests
- Prayer for recuperation and rest while in isolation in Quito before we meet out host family.
- For Katy Griggs, our Ecuador team leader, that she will make it to us safely from Santa Domingo on the 8th of February to meet us for our orientation.
- That the language schools in Quito would remain open and the teaching be in person.
