Dear friends,
How are you? Are you settling into the new year? I know many folks are talking about the 'rough' start to 2021 - but honestly, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise, should it? While 2020 was traumatic, it was precisely because it illuminated the deep chasms of our country.
As an educator, I take any opportunity I can to bring reality into my classroom. Since Jan. 6's insurrection, I've been thinking about this post, Anti-Racist Teaching and Justice, and hope that it offers you resources for your classroom or family.
