NSQHS - Standard 5.31

Resources to get you thinking about Standard 5.31/5.32:  Predicting, preventing and managing self-harm and suicide

Future Leaders Communiqué Volume 6 Issue 1 January 2021 looks at the case of the coroner’s inquest into the death of Ms MT; a talented illustrator whose suicide was preceded by a series of miscommunications and system failures from the health care community as she repeatedly sought assistance with a mental health emergency. This edition looks at the case, specialist commentary, and the topic of care of the acutely suicidal patient.
