Week of January 29, 2021

Welcome back Political Science students! Here are just a few reminders as we start Spring 2021:

Wellman Hill Grant Reminders...
Wellman Hill Summer Internship Grants are due on February 12, 2021. You'll find detailed information and the online application on the program's website.

Wellman Hill Grants are made possible by a generous gift from Elizabeth Hill (B.A., M.A. 1997) to honor her grandfather, Wellman Hill. They are intended to encourage Political Science majors to pursue and accept public service internships. Please note that the program requires that students find their own internships, and some deadlines are fast approaching. The winter break is the perfect time to conduct an internship search.

For questions about the Wellman Hill program, please don't hesitate to contact Professor Posner.

COVID CARE Form
The Dean of Students Office would like to remind the campus community of the COVID-19 CARE reporting system for unique circumstances related to the pandemic.

Through an online form, students, families, faculty and staff can identify students who:

  • may need additional support;
  • have symptoms/exposures; or
  • may be having difficulty adhering to public health guidelines such as wearing a mask or social distancing.
  • Should you encounter a situation where it is appropriate to submit a COVID-19 CARE report, the form is available in the Rave Guardian app, or on the Dean of Students website.

If you have concerns about compliance or questions, please contact the Dean of Students office by calling 216.368.1527 or emailing deanofstudents@case.edu.

  • Optimizing your LinkedIn profile
  • Preparing for career fairs or networking events (read advice from the Career Lab)

The Career Lab webpage displays a list of upcoming Career Lab sessions and the full schedule of events can be found  in Handshake.

You can register for an upcoming Virtual Career Lab in advance or or just use the Zoom Meeting link to drop-in during the designated times. If you register ahead of time, priority will be given for entry from the Zoom waiting room.

For more information, visit the Career Lab webpage or contact Lisa Grisez-Shullick, assistant director of student experience in Post-Graduate Planning and Experiential Education.
