Inverloch

What do you love about your job?
I am new to the position so I am excited about the opportunity this brings to create meaningful connections and support for our community.

What is your favourite book?
I am adding an ‘s’ to the word book. The Gold Finch by Donna Tartt, Too Much Lip by Melissa Lucashenko, Boy Swallows Universe by Trent Dalton, Phosphorescence by Julia Baird.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am surf-centric. I love everything about the ocean but mostly surfing. It is my health and wellbeing ticket. I also do love a good book and of course spending time with family and friends. I also love to travel. Nothing delights me more than a good old road trip.
Our Bass Coast. Our Future.

What do you want for the future of Bass Coast? We want to hear from you!

Your ideas will help shape a number of important Council documents, including the Council Plan 2021-25, Health and Wellbeing Plan 2021-25 long-term Community Vision and 10 Year Financial Plan.

Community Gardens Australia
11 April is Community Gardens Day!
The month of April is national Urban Agriculture Month. Community Gardens Australia are encouraging all gardens to put on an event, make contact with your local media and get the word out about the benefits of growing your own food. They will be promoting these events nationally and don't forget it is also a great opportunity for you to run a fundraising event such as a plant sale.
April 11, 2021 is the inaugural national community gardening day. Stay tuned for more details on the website, as it is intended for this to be an annual event to celebrate community gardening everywhere - let's all head down to our local garden on the same day and celebrate the joys of growing and sharing together!
