The best part is that you do not need to be a science teacher to apply. We encourage teachers from all content areas, and teacher teams from the same school, to apply.

Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance hosted a professional development opportunity for Osage Hills Elementary School, a member of the Osage County Interlocal Cooperative, on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. The professional development opportunity focused on showcasing how to incorporate STEAM into curricula with coding, engineering, creativity, and hands-on prototyping of mechanical inventions, such as bridges, cranes, pulleys, or an entire town. More than 44 percent of teachers who attended have 16 or more years of experience. Participants had a great time learning about how to develop critical thinking, problem-solving and innovative ideas that are important in STEM and STEAM-based projects.
