InnovATEBIO is an NSF-ATE National Center with a focus on working with two-year colleges throughout the US to develop workforce to support the biotechnical enterprise. A key element of workforce preparation is hands-on experiences, such as those provided through undergraduate research experiences (URE). To support the development of URE in biotechnology programs, InnovATEBIO is inviting colleges with an interest in the development or expansion of URE in biotechnology to apply to become an InnovATEBIO undergraduate research institutional partner. In this informational session, participants will learn about how to apply to become an InnovATEBIO partner and the benefits associated with an institutional partnership. Later this spring, the Center will hold a strategic planning workshop for newly selected partners. Details of this kick-off event will be presented as part of this session.
InnovATEBIO Co-PI and Undergraduate Research Partnership Lead James Hewlett will give a short presentation on the partnership with InnovATEBIO and be available to answer any questions.
