Niagara-on-the-Lake Public Library Newsletter

February 2021

From Cathy's Desk
If all goes well, we have less than two weeks left until lockdown ends. We’re very glad the province considers the library an essential service and we’re here to help you through this difficult time.

Our e-resources have expanded to include streaming video and we’ve expanded our virtual programming.  In addition to Tuesday Trivia, we’ll have our first Virtual Game Night on February 3.  Kasia also has a mixed-media collage workshop planned for February 9.

If you prefer to hold the printed page in your hands, place what you want on hold and use our curbside pickup service.  Our print collection has expanded this year with the recent addition of Grimsby, Welland and West Lincoln to the Libraries in Niagara Cooperative better known as LiNC.  Wainfleet is poised to join LiNC soon too.

February is Black History Month and you can research Niagara-on-the-Lake’s rich Black history in our heritage portal and read about the Black experience in books from our fiction and nonfiction collection.

Read on for more details and #StayHomeNOTL with great information and entertainment from the library.
