High School Seniors
College Bound? Complete Your FAFSA!
Families of high school seniors, if your student plans to attend a two- or four-year college or a trade/technical school after high school, please be sure you have filled out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Completing the FAFSA is the gateway to grants, work-study, and low-interest loans that can be an important part of your college payment strategy.
Many colleges have priority financial aid deadlines that are coming up soon, so if you haven’t already completed it, we encourage you to submit your FAFSA as soon as possible in order to be considered for all types of available aid. If you have questions about the FAFSA, reach out to your student’s high school counselor for resources.

Concurrent Enrollment Week
Earning College Credit in High School
This week we recognize Jeffco programs offering high school students the opportunity to earn college-level credit while still in high school. And, we tip our hats to all our students who take part in these advantageous programs.
Most Jeffco high schools offer Concurrent Enrollment, and we have outstanding partnerships with Red Rocks and Arapahoe Community Colleges, including a virtual option through Jeffco Virtual Academy.
Our two Warren Tech campuses (soon three!) offer a number of college credit opportunities and a few associate's degree programs.
Learn more about Concurrent Enrollment on our Career and College Pathways webpage under Postsecondary Opportunities.
