Dear Neighbors,

This Tuesday, join me on Mind, Body, Health & Politics for a mind-opening discussion with film maker and author John DeGraaf.

John DeGraaf has written four books and countless articles for such prominent publications as The NationNew York Times, Sierra, Huff PostUTNE Reader, Earth Island Institute, and Common Dreams.
John's books include Affluenza, Take Back Your Time and What's the Economy For Anyway?.

John is currently working on a new documentary, and has been keeping a watchful eye on American culture as it moves through this COVID-19 pandemic. His experience as a social activist over several decades brings a rare perspective to where we have been and where we are going with a special interest in the value of personal happiness and consumerism's unfulfilled promises.

John DeGraaf's numerous awards include Best Local Public Television Program in the US. His over 50 documentaries have earned him the the distinction of an honorary annual namesake award at North America's largest environmental film festival, the Wild & Scenic Film Festival.   Film topics include a closer look at the environment, feminism, global hunger, and worker's rights.

Please tune in, forward this email, share via the links below, and post the "listen-live" link to alert your friends and neighbors to this live broadcast.

Wishing you excellent health,

I recently spoke with Dr. Gabor Maté about the diagnosis known as ADD. When does such a diagnosis help? When does it harm? Find out how Gabor made it through medical school despite his own diagnosis of ADD, and learn what others with ADD can do to live life as normally and productively as possible.

I was honored to have four-term California Governor – my friend and neighbor – Jerry Brown as my inaugural guest, touching on the fallout from the 2020 election. Our primary topics of discussion were the dual existential crises facing the next President of the United States: climate change and nuclear proliferation.

Don't miss it.
