Helen reviewed all financial documents shared earlier. We need to start looking at future District Grants, Iona from Inn Out of the Cold will look out together a wish list for their new location (District Grant, Bingo money)

Local Community Service - Sandy
Wildflowers update - they are looking for a letter from STRCRC outlining all the supports in the Community that we were able to complete. we raised $8937. They are also asking if we could commit to assist with parking again next year (June-October). It was suggested that we keep the parking shifts split up. Look at more supports with Interact, Passport Club etc. Club was in favour of both.

Inn Out of the Cold - The Roadhouse will provide a meal this Sunday at cost. Paul will pick up and deliver. We will gather pictures and share on social media, Bob will be able to share with the Chamber. 

Environmental Day - Bill - April 24, 2021 - Bill is proposing to move our April 21, 21 meeting until April 24, 21 and do a Community clean up either at VA Barrie Park (Bill will look into this) or Port Bruce (Al will look into this), 1-2 hours. 

Elgin Hospice - Bill asked of we would like to put Club support in the Hospice, possibly a room. More discussion will take place. Club all in favour. 

Sandy shared all of the Community service events we are assisting in: Wildflowers, Apples, New Comers/Teen packs, Salvation Army Christmas Kettles, VON-seniors, tree planting to name a few 

Dictionary/Literacy Project - Al asked if anyone would like to be on the Committee - Natalie, Sandy and Roland 

Tree Planting - goal was late spring, Wade will look into it.

Rotary Youth Exchange - Al G
Al received official notification regarding the hold on RYE this year, Central sites voted 18-1. AL has contacted schools, students, host families. Al is waiting on Thames Valley School Board regarding a presentation for students in the Fall.
Al and Wade are attending the International Conference this weekend for RYE.
RYLA - Al sent out email to the RYE Committee regarding sponsoring the cost of the RYLA for all students associated with STRCRC.

Bob Ward will be joining our Club, just finalizing paperwork. - welcome

Extra Info
Bob - shared with the members about the past "Fantasy of Lights" Numerous Service Clubs in St. Thomas have committed to helping renew this project. It will be called "Light up the Night". 

Virtual "Thank You" to STEGH - has been submitted. Sue and Sandy dropped off the gift baskets at the hospital (Wednesday). Virtual "thank you " will be up next week or the week after. 
Thank you to Ann for lending her creative talents to the making of the baskets, Al for coming into to town to assist with picking up items from the Rotary storage and to all our members who participated, donated and/or assisted in this project.  Well done Sue, it was a great idea!
