Simcenter events 2021

Soon we will be hosting a new event in collaboration with Siemens about the software we can provide. As a smart expert partner, we are always up-to-date of the newest releases and we can state we are expert users as well. Release highlights Simcenter 3D

In the past month, we've showed you, together with Siemens, the newest features in the 2021.1 version of Simcenter 3D. Enhancements in Simcenter 3D 2021.1 focus on these four differentiating strengths:

Multidiscipline Integration:
Perform more simulation types from an integrated environment

Spend less time modeling, and more time on engineering

CFD Project

When thought of supersonic flows, fast fighter jets or even the Concorde comes to mind. The images of these kinds of vehicles breaking the so-called sound barrier are well known and the physics are researched thoroughly over the years. With research came the means to model and simulate supersonic flows. This article aims to give some insight into supersonic flows as well as the background on the STAR-CCM+ CFD simulation we performed on our own Femto Engineering logo.

Collaboration Project March

Also in 2021 we will be collaborating with Project MARCH. Project MARCH is a team that consists of 26 students from the Delft University of Technology that is developing an innovative and versatile exoskeleton, which is a motorized robotic suit, that can be used to let people with paraplegia stand up and walk again.
