NAS Dubai App  
Canteen Pre-Order Feature 
 
We're delighted to announce the launch of a new feature on the NAS Dubai App to pre-order food from our Lunch Box canteen. It was created to support and adhere to the COVID safety and guidance procedures and will remain in place beyond COVID, when Lunch Box is fully operational.

Primary and Secondary parents will be able to pre-order and pay through this new feature in the app.  Additionally, the Secondary students will have access to a Student Platform on their devices so they can independently order their food. The Secondary students will be introduced to this new platform once they return to school.    

The launch will be staggered in the coming weeks to ensure a safe and smooth delivery of all orders. Year groups will be notified both via email and push notification when they can start to pre-order food. Please note that the menu selection varies per year group and therefore ONLY the year groups that are able to order can see a menu on the App.

To begin with the following year groups can pre-order for the week starting 21 February: 



Before pre-ordering please take note of the following: 
  • Ordering can take place up until 7:30am on the day of delivery.
  • Orders can only be cancelled until 9pm the day before delivery.
  • Orders will only be charged once delivered.
  • Student canteen balance, whether from the App or from previous in person purchases in the canteen, will be reflected in their balance on the App.
  • Payment top ups made in person in the canteen will be be reflected on the App under each child.
  • Each child has to have a sufficient balance before pre-ordering food.
  • Orders can be made for one day or up to a maximum of 5 days on the App.
  • The Secondary Student Platform independently allows students to order food only (for security reasons the top up payment function is restricted to the NAS Dubai App). 
  • Please ensure your NAS Dubai App is updated to access the new pre-order feature. 
  • Any food or delivery queries please email Lunch Box directly via the envelope icon within the Lunch Box function on the App.
