Vaccine Access

From WA DOH: We are providing this information to assist you and your local partners to address questions/concerns expressed by those you are serving related to the availability of COVID-19 Vaccines.

Washington is currently in Phase 1B tier 1 of vaccine distribution.  This means the vaccine is available to anyone 65 and older, and all people 50 and older who also live in a multigenerational household. This is in addition to populations eligible during phase 1A including health care workers at high risk for COVID-19 infection, first responders, people who live or work in long-term care facilities, and all other workers in health settings who are at risk of COVID-19. Learn more about who gets the vaccine and when.

In addition, please share freely these links:

Vaccine Information :: Washington State Department of Health

Frequently Asked Questions :: Washington State Department of Health

Phase Finder Tool :: Washington State Department of Health

We also understand that not all Washingtonians have access to the internet to look up information regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. For people who are unable to use Phase Finder because of language, disability, or technology barriers, you can call 1-800-525-0127. The call center staff can help you see if you are eligible for the vaccine and find a vaccine location. The call center is open from 6:00am – 10:00pm Monday-Friday and 8:00am – 6:00pm Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. The person can then call the sites to get an appointment. When they go to their appointment, they tell the vaccine provider that 211 (or the hotline) confirmed their eligibility.  We’ve been telling providers they should accept this since some people can’t get “proof” any other way. If they are denied their appointment, the can call back to 211 and get another site or report this to covid.vaccine@doh.wa.gov.
