Gun legislation is not a critical priority for AAUW, however, AAUW National does recognize "that gun violence is a public health crisis." URGENT: HB18 and HB 786 Permitless Carry Bills will be heard in Criminal Justice Sub Committee NEXT WEEK on Wednesday, February 24. This is our #1 priority bill we need to fight against!!

I side with our law enforcement, gun safety instructors, and business owners who all believe our permitting system should not be weakened. If you vote for permitless carry, you are voting against what majority of Tennesseean voters want.
