Dear Friends of Ukraine:
You are respectfully invited to attend the twelfth US-Ukraine Security Dialogue, entitled Divining the New Administration’s Approach to Ukraine’s Most Pressing Security Issues. The forum will be held online on Wednesday-Thursday, March 3-4, 2021.
This Zoom webinar, scheduled to run as four-hour segments on consecutive days will feature four panel discussions and two highlight focus sessions dedicated to gauging how the Biden national security and foreign policy team might deal with, and hopefully aid, Ukraine’s efforts to thwart military threats, threats of political subversion, undue economic/energy pressures and varied disinformation campaigns. The gathering will also give prominence, as tradition would have it, to considering why Ukraine’s security still matters both to its neighbors and the world at large.
The complete program (subject to change), along with a list of invited speakers, is included below. You are welcome to participate in any and all listed sessions. Your presence would certainly enhance the proceedings you chose to join.
Due to the time constraints involved with organizing such an affair, the co-sponsoring organizations (the Center for US-Ukrainian Relations, the Ukrainian Congress Committee of America, and the American Foreign Policy Council) kindly ask that you RSVP no later than Tuesday, March 2, 2021, concerning your participation (and to receive your Zoom instructions). For further information, please feel free to contact either Walter Zaryckyj, Security Dialogue Series Program Coordinator, ( waz2102@columbia.edu) or Andrij Dobriansky, Security Dialogue Series Administrative Coordinator ( drijmail@gmail.com).
