Psychologically informed environments - collaboration working groups, Spring 2021.

For those that missed the first call, this is a second call to say that we have four new PIEs community of practice collaboration working parties commencing in the Spring of 2021. They are:

  1. Psychologically informed boundary setting
  2. Top-to-toe PIE embedding
  3. PIEs in general needs housing
  4. Finding a service user-friendly language

(A very brief description of each area of work is given at the end of this mail)

Or perhaps this is a reminder – for those that mean to get round to it? If so, it’s not too late. We are still gathering members, contributions and materials; and will start in earnest in March.

For those that have already registered an interest - there is nothing more you need to do immediately. We'll contact you. But meanwhile, you could check out the page(s) for the forum(s) you have joined, for any recent updates.

NB: Whether registered or not, you will find the specific pages for each working group via the PIElink's general ‘forums’ page:  HERE

.....................

Those working groups' brief, in a little more detail:

1: Psychologically informed boundary setting : HERE
Can we have – or rather, how can we have – boundaries set with Psychological Awareness?

2: Top-to-toe PIE embedding HERE
A discussion area for services that are keen to embed the PIE approach throughout the whole of the organisation, from the Board of Governors to the frontline of services – 'from top to toe'.

3: PIEs in general needs housing HERE
Can the PIEs approach infuse general needs housing, and help develop new community support models, to tackle isolation?

4: Finding a service user-friendly language HERE
Can we now help to create a more ‘street language' for the Pizazz, to support user involvement both in PIEs' self assessment, and in local needs and strengths audits?
