Group Class for Ongoing Training - Good Manners Beginners Class is starting this weekend!!

I have been getting lots of requests for ongoing training for adult dogs and those who have completed my puppy class, either Pre Beginners Class for Puppies or Training Foundation Class for Puppies. So, here it is!!!

(This class may be postponed if the current Alert Level 3 doesn’t get lifted or the alert level goes up by then.)

This class aims to help your dog become a wonderful member of your family by improving their social skills through positive training.

Time/Date: 8:30-9:30am Saturdays 20 & 27 Feb and 6 & 13 Mar
(The class runs over 4 week)
Location: Manurewa/Takanini/Papakura
Cost: $120 per team for the 1st time and $80 per team for repetitions
Prerequisite: Vaccinations are up to date. Has basic behaviours such as Sit and Down.

In this class your dog will learn manners such as:

Food manners
Greeting other dogs and people
Walk on lead with distraction
Walk through a gate
Recall
Stay
And more!

Your instructor for this class is a registered trainer for the Canine Good Citizen program. Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a program run by Dogs NZ (formerly New Zealand Kennel Club) and it rewards well-mannered dogs with four levels of titles, CGC Foundation, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. In our Good Manners Beginners Class we practise exercises that are assessed in the Foundation level. In addition, you can get help with issues that your dog may have.
