I think most of us can agree that it is just too cold outside! Texans are staying home and off the roads because we are not equipped to deal with snow, ice, and frigid temperatures of this magnitude. Many of the wind turbines that power our state are iced over so there are rolling blackouts... it's a giant mess!
With that in mind, you can expect shipping delays this week. Lorna will communicate with you when you place an order and, rest assured, we will ship as soon as we possibly can.
The birds are eating as much seed as we can put out. Belle and Jim watch them longingly from inside, but they don't like the cold any more than we do.

Since I'll be talking about thimbles on today's Time Out, I thought you might like to see some in action. This video is about bit-stitch hand quilting on an applique quilt.
