Cameron's Sunday Morning Worship Recap February 14, 2021
On Valentine's Day and Transfiguration Sunday, we honored the lives of transgender human beings while also re-membering and grieving the deaths of transgender persons killed simply because they chose to live into the full expressions of who they are at their core, from the inside out. It is through these lives and lived experiences that we reflected upon the mysterious glory of the Transfiguration story. We perceived the gifts and the callings to bravely but wisely depart from code- switching by inviting others to our secret places, to reveal and live into our truths with authenticity, transparency and vulnerability, to recognize that the impact of our actions exceeds our intentions, and to co-create communities for others to reveal their truths with the assurance of being celebrated and honored well. Yesterday, we heard the call to live into the TRANS Power of Love!
Pastor Jackson (PJ) will be one of the faith leaders participating in this year's Blessing of the Legislative Session on Thursday, February 18, hosted by the Interfaith Alliance of Colorado. PJ invites and welcomes your prayers, and if possible, your presence. The event is free and begins at 12:00 p.m. Click on this link to register: RSVP for Blessing of the Session 2021 (everyaction.com)
