Hey there,

It’s a weird feeling when people think you’re a busy actor because you’re in something on TV or in the cinema, but meanwhile you haven’t even been asked to tape for anything for months.

That has become all the weirder now, with covid and lockdown.

I was feeling completely removed from the community and industry, but there I was on TG4 last week in a new docuseries Scéalta Grá na hÉireann.

Patrick O’Shea (Paddy, as I call him), wrote and directed that series, and he very kindly agreed to join me as my guest for the latest episode.

We chatted about the show, and Paddy had some excellent tips about getting media attention that he has picked up along the way, and while promoting this series.

Check out the episode here: Director Patrick O’Shea on his new docuseries and tips for attracting media attention

I’ve also now taken steps to rectify the fact that I feel I’m forgetting how to be an actor, and I’m involved in exploring a play via Zoom with Tom Kibbe and some fellow acting class people.

Let me know how you are getting on in this lockdown, and what is keeping you connected creatively speaking…

Chat soon,
Frank
