Newly Ordained Rev. Fr. Artsakh Badoyan Celebrates First Divine Liturgy
On Sunday, February 14, 2021, newly ordained Rev. Fr. Artsakh Badoyan celebrated his first Divine Liturgy, and delivered his first sermon at St. Garabed Armenian Apostolic Church of Las Vegas. He was assisted on the altar by Archpriest Fr. Vahan Gosdanian, Archpriest Fr. Avedis Torossian, Acolyte Hagop Havanjian and altar boys Hovig and Nejteh Bayramian. In attendance were Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Adroushan Armenian, Parish Delegates, Board of Trustees, and representatives of sister organizations.
Prior to his sermon, Fr. Artsakh thanked the Prelate of the Western Prelacy, His Grace Bishop Torkom Donoyan, for actively supporting him as the newly ordained priest, wishing Srpazan a prosperous leadership. Thereafter, Der Artsakh greeted the current Pastor and the former Pastor, our local leaders, sister organization representatives, the Church Board of Trustees and Delegates, his ordination godfather and godmother, St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church of San Francisco where he served during the last 14 years and all those following the livestream, invoking upon the countless blessings of God.
Following the Sunday Church Service, coffee was served by the Parish Board of Trustees and Ladies Auxiliary at the Cultural Center "Koujakian" hall.
