- Safe Families Sunday is a day to activate the Church to care for their neighbors in need!
- Utilize Safe Families Sunday as an opportunity to appreciate and honor current volunteers and to invite others to serve with them.
- Cast the vision of Safe Families to your church for the first time!
- Support the ministry of Safe Families by receiving a special offering for SFFC MKE.
- Register your church for SF Sunday here.

PRAISE
- For a new church that is hosting a Q&A in March: Stillwater Church.
- For Ministry Leads planning action steps to celebrate Safe Families Sunday in their churches! For ideas/resources contact Laura.
- For tons of our volunteers donating needed resource items: diapers, coats, boys clothing, and on and on.
- For two moms who settled into new apartments this month.
- For 12+ volunteer applications in 2021!
PRAYER
- For the four moms (in Family Friendships) and two (recent intakes) who are trying so hard to reunify with their children in out-of-home care.
- For the health of three young, pregnant moms and their babies (in Family Friendships).
- For the six churches who we are waiting on to respond with their decision on becoming a partner church.
- For great relationships and open doors to share about SF with agencies, non-profits, and organizations going forward.

- Special Events Extraordinaire – We are praying for one or more volunteers who are creative and innovative, have a keen eye for Details, good time management skills, passionate and enthusiastic, and possess superior organizational skills to join our team to pull off amazing events for our SFFC-MKE community. Contact Laura if interested.
- Intake Volunteer -- If you are a gifted listener and want to be on the front lines to serve families in crisis, then you should consider joining our intake team. You can carve our a 1/2 day or full day a week to be available to answer calls to SFFC-MKE. Contact Kaitlin if interested.
- Family Coaches from all churches! - Contact Kaitlin if interested.

 Jerod & Joanne W. - 1 yo girl (pictured) hosted for 6 weeks so that mom could get housing after a surprise forced move. Last week, mom moved in to a brand new, safe place! Little girl joined her shortly after. Thanks to other members of the team who have helped the mom find needed items for the new apartment! Hosting ended on 2/5/21.
- Cheryl & Mike. S. - 4-7 day hosting of two boys (8 & 4) starting on 2/15/21 so their mom can get treatment.
- Nicole & Richard D. - 1 day hosting of two girls (18 months & 6 yo) so that the girls' parents could go to the hospital to deliver their 3rd baby. Congrats to the family on the safe arrival of a healthy baby girl! Hosting started and ended 1/14/21, but the D family continues to stay in touch with the family and are having them over for ice skating this weekend! God story: the 18 month old has a feeding tube, so they needed a host family who could handle this medical need. God provided Richard who is a doctor to be a host!
- Jake & Laura L. - 7 day hosting of two boys (15 & 12, pictured) so that their mom could get long-awaited
 brain surgery and recover. Both families continue to stay in touch & and the L family has the boys over once a week. Hosting ended 1/21/21. Dyan G. has been added as a Family Friend for the boys and their mom. God story: the boys attend a school that Jake volunteers at, so he knew all of their teachers and social workers to help coordinate virtual school, etc!
- Jen and Dan K. - Hosting a 2 month old boy starting 2/13/21. They had previously hosted the baby's mom in December and are now just supporting the mom as extended family would with respite, etc.
