In this season, where many of you have been locked down, forced to stay home, confronted with issues of self that were always allowed to remain due to busyness, the Lord is speaking to you. He is urging you to not just cope, placate, medicate, or escape. He is allowing you to be confronted with habits, cycles, behaviours and issues that have needed to be addressed for a long time.
As the good, good Father, He says, “Allow this confrontation to happen. Do not run away from the discomfort. For I desire to set you on a new path, one that will leave behind all these old issues. Yet they have to be addressed first. Sit with me and together let’s discuss what needs to change and how these changes need to happen. Allow my loving correction. Receive my healing. Ask me for solutions. Together, let’s determine that you will end some old things and begin some new, much needed, ones. It’s time to step into healthy behaviours and healthy relationships.”
